Hello, my name is Leanne and I am a fully registered Ofsted Childminder with a GOOD rating.

I have over 28 years of experience in childcare, having worked in nurseries before deciding to set up my own childminding business in 2020 – and I’ve absolutely loved it ever since!

My home is bright, welcoming, and carefully set up to provide plenty of space for children to learn and play. I have soft flooring for safe play, a cosy quiet area for resting or reading, and a wide variety of toys and activities that encourage creativity, messy play, hand-eye coordination, and gross motor development.

Although my garden is small, we make the most of the outdoors with regular adventures. The children and I enjoy exploring local woodlands with our dog, spotting and talking about what we can hear and see. We visit the library each month, attend weekly playgroups, and love days out at places like Jump Works Trampoline Park, local play centres, and a variety of nearby parks including Leyland and Bamber Bridge.

We also enjoy bigger trips, such as visits to the beach at Lytham St Anne’s (buckets and spades at the ready!), Blackpool Zoo, Thornton Hall Farm, and Eureka. These experiences give the children opportunities to learn, play, and explore the world around them in fun and memorable ways.

Every day is filled with laughter, learning, and adventure – and I feel very privileged to play a part in each child’s journey.
